PRIVATE FILE WORK

PDF tools that state exactly what they change

Choose a small PDF task and keep control of the source file. These tools create blank pages, combine authorized PDFs, arrange or extract pages, add visible numbers and watermarks, render pages as images, read selectable text, inspect common metadata, and list ordinary link annotations. The workspace shows the relevant file and options before you run the operation, so you can tell whether the result matches the job you intended.

Selected files are read in this browser and are not uploaded to NexaCurrent. A new output is created for download while the original remains available in your local workflow. That is useful for routine documents, drafts, scans, and print preparation, but a browser operation cannot preserve every advanced PDF feature or make an untrusted document safe.

Organize pages without hiding content

Merging, splitting, reordering, rotating, resizing, cropping, and N-up layouts make a new document from the pages you select. A crop box changes the visible page area; it is not redaction and does not erase hidden content. A page number or watermark is visible artwork, not access control. Keep the original until you have opened the new file in a standard reader.

Password recovery and protection removal are outside the purpose of this collection. A protected file is rejected rather than treated as an invitation to weaken its boundary. Use documents you are authorized to handle, and use a dedicated signing, archival, accessibility, or records workflow when the document has legal or organizational consequences.

Conversions have practical limits

PDF-to-image and rasterization export what the browser can display. Text extraction reads the document's selectable text layer. Neither action performs OCR on a scan, reconstructs a faithful Word or PowerPoint file, restores every embedded image, or guarantees that forms, bookmarks, tags, signatures, and fonts will behave the same way in another reader.

Large page counts, high render scales, and tall image exports use memory, so file, page, dimension, and scale limits protect the tab. If a document does not fit, split the job or use a desktop PDF application with the settings and preservation features your work requires.

Metadata and links are clues, not proof

Titles, authors, producers, keywords, and annotations can help you understand a file, but they may be missing, edited, or inaccurate. The metadata editor changes a small set of fields in a new copy. The link extractor lists standard HTTP(S) annotations; text that merely looks like a URL is not treated as a verified destination.

Open the output before sharing it, compare important pages with the original, and check links in a safe context. For confidential, signed, regulated, or accessibility-critical documents, use the PDF reader and professional process responsible for that decision rather than relying on a quick browser conversion alone.
