1. The practical summary
NexaCurrent collects only the information needed to deliver the site, operate accounts and requested interactive features, enforce daily limits, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure aggregated site use. We do not run behavioral advertising or sell personal information.
Some features use outside providers. If you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies basic account information. If you submit an Ask AI question or request an interpretation, the relevant text is processed by our AI provider. News-research questions may also produce a short, bounded search query that is sent to news-search providers.
2. Who is responsible for your information
NexaCurrent is the data controller for personal information covered by this policy. NexaCurrent operates from the United States.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. Please do not include passwords, financial account details, medical records, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information in an unsolicited email.
3. Information processed when you visit
When you request a page, our hosting, security, and delivery systems may process your IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, referring page, date and time, response status, and similar technical information. A site search places the words you enter in the requested URL, so those words may also appear in access and security logs.
We use this information to deliver pages, diagnose failures, limit abusive traffic, investigate security events, and maintain reliable service. We do not use it to build an advertising profile.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may collect online identifiers, device and browser information, page views, approximate location derived from IP address, and referral or campaign parameters. We use its aggregate reporting to understand which pages and external campaigns are useful; we do not use Google Analytics for advertising audiences or cross-site behavioral advertising.
4. Accounts and sign-in
If you create an email account, we process your display name, email address, password hash, account identifiers, account dates, login method, and login history. Passwords are transformed by the authentication system and are not stored as readable plain text.
Authentication sessions may include a session token, expiration time, IP address, and browser user-agent. A normal session can remain valid for up to 60 days unless you sign out or it is revoked sooner.
If Google sign-in is available and you choose it, we receive the Google account identifier and basic profile information that Google authorizes for sign-in, such as your name, email address, and profile image. We use that information only to create, link, secure, and display your NexaCurrent account.
5. Ask AI and news research
Ask AI is available to signed-in readers. We process the question you submit, relevant conversation context, the answer, source references, research audit information, and basic service-status data. These records let you reopen or delete conversations and let us operate and troubleshoot the feature.
NexaCurrent keeps no more than your 15 most recent AI conversations. Creating another conversation removes the oldest conversation and its messages. You may also delete a conversation from the interface.
Do not submit confidential, privileged, regulated, or highly sensitive personal information to Ask AI. AI output may be incomplete or wrong and should not be treated as professional advice.
6. Tarot, divination, and other interactive tools
Most tool calculations happen in your browser. NexaCurrent does not receive a private draft or tool result merely because you use a calculator or draw cards.
If you actively select Help me interpret or request a Daily Good Luck Message, the result already displayed on the page, together with trusted tool instructions needed to explain it, is sent to NexaCurrent for processing. The resulting interpretation is returned to the page and is not added to your Ask AI chat history.
The Daily Good Luck feature can keep the three most recent generated messages in your browser and send them with the next request to reduce repetition. You can remove this history by clearing the site data in your browser.
7. Cookies and local browser storage
NexaCurrent uses first-party authentication cookies to keep signed-in accounts secure. Short-lived encrypted cookie data may reduce repeated session lookups, while the server remains able to revoke the session.
For guest tool limits, a first-party HttpOnly cookie named nexahub_tool_guest stores a random identifier for up to one year. The business database stores a salted cryptographic hash of that identifier, the quota date, scope, and claimed slot; it does not store the raw cookie value in the quota record.
The site may also store a language preference for up to one year and may use local browser storage for the recent Daily Good Luck messages described above. Blocking or clearing necessary cookies can sign you out, reset local preferences, or prevent limited features from working correctly.
Google Analytics is optional. We load its tag only after you select “Accept analytics”; choosing “Decline” prevents its tag from loading. After you choose, the site-wide notice disappears. To withdraw consent later, visit this Privacy Policy and select “Change analytics preference.” Google Analytics may set its own analytics cookies after consent. We do not use advertising cookies or Google advertising features.
8. Why we process information
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform the service you request, including accounts, conversations, and interpretations; to pursue legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention, debugging, editorial integrity, and service reliability; to comply with law; and, where required, on the basis of your consent.
Providing account or AI information is optional, but we cannot provide the corresponding account, saved conversation, or generated interpretation without the information required for that feature.
9. When information is shared
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to providers that help deliver the service, including hosting and database infrastructure, Cloudflare for delivery and security, Google for optional sign-in and consented analytics, MiniMax for requested AI output, and external news-search providers for bounded research queries.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable legal protections.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
10. International processing
NexaCurrent operates from the United States and uses providers that may process information in the United States, Singapore, and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your country.
Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or safeguards, we will rely on an available lawful mechanism and the contractual and security commitments of the relevant provider. Contact us if you need information about a transfer that relates specifically to you.
11. Retention
We keep information only while it remains reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this policy, including providing an account, enforcing limits, resolving incidents, maintaining security records, meeting legal obligations, and preserving recoverable backups.
Authentication sessions normally expire within 60 days. Ask AI retains no more than the 15 most recent conversations for an account, and a reader can delete individual conversations. Account profile and login information normally remain while the account exists or while needed for security and legal purposes.
Daily quota rows are keyed to a calendar date and are not used for advertising profiles. Security logs, login audits, quota records, and backups may be retained longer when reasonably needed to investigate abuse, restore service, comply with law, or resolve a dispute. When deletion from an active system is completed, copies may remain in protected backups until those backups are replaced in the ordinary course.
12. Security
We use measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, password hashing, signed or encrypted session data, same-origin request checks, rate limits, restricted administration access, and integrity-checked backups.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a unique password, protecting your device and account, and telling us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
13. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator in the place where you live or work.
California residents may, where the law applies, request information about collection and disclosure, correction, or deletion, and may exercise applicable rights without discriminatory treatment. NexaCurrent does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is currently no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out to operate.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information may be retained when an exception or legal obligation applies.
14. Children
NexaCurrent is a general-audience news and tools service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
15. External links
Articles and tools may link to publishers, source documents, and other websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by their operators, not NexaCurrent. Review their policies before providing information to them.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or law changes. The current version will appear on this page with a revised date. If a change materially affects how existing account information is used, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
