The deal
Accenture said on August 25, 2026 that it has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation specialist, and integrate the firm into Accenture Edge, the mid-market business Accenture launched in 2026. McCoy, founded in 2012 and headquartered in the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines, designs, implements and manages SAP solutions across ERP, data, business solutions, managed services and enterprise integration. The companies did not disclose financial terms, and the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals.
Why McCoy, and why Edge
McCoy is recognized as an SAP Gold Partner and has built long-standing client relationships across high-tech, manufacturing, the public sector, utilities and retail, according to Accenture's announcement. More than 380 specialized professionals will join Accenture Edge, bringing proprietary accelerators such as SmartERP, Smart Extensions, Smart Re-use and McCoy Integration Studio, tooling designed to standardize delivery and shorten SAP implementation timelines. Accenture Edge operates as a separate business unit with its own model and offerings, distinct from the large-enterprise work Accenture is traditionally known for, and is positioned to serve companies with roughly $300 million to $3 billion in revenue.
Leadership framing
Nicole van Det, CEO of Accenture Netherlands and the Nordics, tied the acquisition to a combined SAP-and-AI agenda for mid-market clients, saying McCoy adds "the deep SAP expertise, strong client relationships and tailored delivery model needed to turn that agenda into business value." Srini Subramanian, CEO of Accenture Edge, called McCoy "an excellent fit for our strategy and ambitions" in the EMEA mid-market. McCoy co-founder Tom van den Berg said joining Accenture Edge will let the firm "offer clients broader SAP, technology and AI capabilities" and give its people access to international projects and career opportunities.
Edge products and the SAP tie-in
Within the Edge ecosystem, SAP is one of the key partners, and McCoy will contribute to Advance, a joint Accenture–SAP initiative that offers packaged services tailored to mid-sized organizations. Together, the companies say Accenture Edge and McCoy will help clients modernize SAP environments faster, integrate AI into core business processes and scale new capabilities with less complexity. The deal is framed around strengthening Accenture Edge's position in the fast-growing EMEA mid-market and expanding SAP modernization capabilities in the Netherlands.
What remains pending
Financial terms were not disclosed, and no closing date has been given. The transaction is contingent on customary conditions, including the receipt of required regulatory approvals. The next verifiable milestone is the closing announcement once those approvals are secured.
