Meta officially launched Meta One, a cross-platform subscription service, in Taiwan, consolidating premium features and AI usage quotas across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp into tiered plans. Single-product plans begin at NT$49 per month, the company said, positioning the bundle as an upgrade path layered on top of the free versions of its social apps.
Pricing tiers and plan structure
The pricing spectrum ranges from entry-level single-product subscriptions to high-end creator and business packages. WhatsApp Plus starts at NT$49 per month, while Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus are each priced at NT$69. The cross-platform Core Plan is NT$159 per month via web and NT$199 through in-app purchase, and the Premium Plan is NT$519 via web or NT$650 through in-app purchase, the company said.
Creator and business offerings
For professional users, Meta introduced creator and business bundles that integrate community management, analytics, content creation tools and the Meta Business Agent. The Basic Plan starts at NT$369 per month via web or NT$459 through in-app purchase and includes verification badges, WhatsApp Business App verified channels and impersonation account protection. The Advanced Plan begins at NT$899 via web or NT$1,139 through in-app purchase and adds features such as 30-day Story scheduling, links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, audience insights, team account access and higher Meta Business Agent usage. Expert and Top-tier tiers for larger business users start at NT$2,699 and NT$8,999 per month via web, reaching NT$3,400 and NT$11,400 respectively through in-app purchase, Meta said.
Subscriber base and product scope
Meta said Meta One currently encompasses more than 50 features and that global subscribers and trial users have surpassed 15 million, with more than half of bundled-plan subscribers using AI and expression features together in early testing. The company emphasized that core Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta AI experiences remain free, with paid plans targeted at users with advanced needs.
Planned expansion of the subscription line
Meta indicated that the subscription model will eventually extend to additional product lines including Edits and AI glasses, though it did not announce a specific timeline for those additions.
