(NYSE: PM) said Group CEO Jacek Olczak addressed investors on September 8, 2026, at the 2026 Barclays Global Consumer Conference in Boston, with the presentation scheduled for 9:45 a.m. ET. Revised 2026 full-year reported diluted EPS outlook

Philip Morris International raised its 2026 full-year reported diluted EPS forecast to a range of $7.28 to $7.43, citing currency only as the driver of the revision. The company’s prior 2025 reported diluted EPS comparison figure was $7.26, and the company reiterated that all other forecast assumptions remain unchanged from those communicated on July 22, 2026.

Adjusted diluted EPS and currency-adjusted growth range

Excluding a total 2026 adjustment of $1.07 per share, the company’s forecast range for adjusted diluted EPS of $8.35 to $8.50 represents a projected increase of 10.7% to 12.7% versus $7.54 in 2025. Excluding a favorable currency impact, at prevailing exchange rates, of $0.24 per share — revised upward from a previously stated $0.15 — the adjusted diluted EPS growth range becomes 7.5% to 9.5%.

Q3 2026 adjusted diluted EPS forecast update

The company also updated its Q3 2026 adjusted diluted EPS forecast for currency only, narrowing the range to $2.29 to $2.34. The revised range now incorporates an estimated 1 cent favorable currency impact, compared with a previously anticipated unfavorable 8 cent currency impact, while leaving other Q3 assumptions unchanged.

Components of the 2026 adjustment and 2025 comparison

Philip Morris International itemized its 2026 adjustments as amortization of intangibles of $0.50, fair value adjustment for equity investments of $0.16, restructuring charges of $0.03, an income tax impact associated with Swedish Match AB financing of $0.06, a non-cash impairment of the RBH equity investment of $0.33, and an Egypt sales tax settlement adjustment. For 2025, the company’s adjustments aggregated to $0.28, against the $7.54 adjusted diluted EPS base.

Forward-looking caveat

The company cautioned that projections of future results and other forward-looking statements remain subject to risks, uncertainties, and potentially inaccurate assumptions, as detailed in the Forward-Looking and Cautionary Statements section of the release. The company did not announce additional guidance items beyond the currency-driven EPS revisions described.
