Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW) said it will host Expedition 2026, its new flagship virtual global event, streaming Nov. 3-5, 2026 in the Americas and Nov. 4-6, 2026 across global regions. The conference replaces the company's former developer event, Snowflake BUILD, and is positioned around what Snowflake calls the "Agentic Enterprise," with programming aimed at extending AI and data execution beyond engineering into cross-functional teams.
Day One fireside pairs Snowflake and Microsoft CEOs on production-scale enterprise AI
The Day One Luminary fireside chat will feature a conversation between Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy and Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella. According to the announcement, the session will examine how enterprises can move from AI experimentation to real-world, production-scale outcomes, with Snowflake framing data, rather than models, as the basis for trust in enterprise AI.
Tailored tracks extend programming to marketing, sales, and finance leaders
Expedition 2026 will run three days of hands-on training built around parallel Leaders and Builders sessions. Tracks are organized for Technical, Go-to-Market (Marketing and Sales), and Finance audiences, alongside executive Leaders Tracks. Snowflake Chief Marketing Officer Denise Persson said the event is designed so "every team can reason over their data and act on it in real time," and that the marketer's opportunity extends across sales, finance, and other business functions.
Product focus centers on governed data foundation and agentic workflows
At the event, Snowflake said it will unveil new innovations intended to help customers connect data from any source, ground AI in real business context, and move agentic workflows into production across every function. The company described its platform as an "agentic control plane" that links data, models, and agents, and positioned governance and deep context as prerequisites for scaling the Agentic Enterprise.
Registration is free and open to customers, partners, and AI practitioners globally
Expedition 2026 is free to attend and open to customers, partners, and data and AI practitioners. The event preserves the technical rigor of BUILD while adding tailored programming for business leaders and functional practitioners, reflecting Snowflake's view that "building with AI is no longer just for engineers" and that "everyone is a builder."
Follow-up signals
The next verifiable milestone is the start of Expedition 2026 on Nov. 3, 2026 in the Americas (Nov. 4 globally), when Snowflake is expected to detail new product innovations and host the Ramaswamy-Nadella fireside chat.
