Television winners
The 2026 Critics Choice Super Awards, announced Thursday, Aug. 6, saw Prime Video's The Boys and Apple TV+'s Widow's Bay each collect three television trophies, making them the most honoured series at the ceremony. Antony Starr received two individual awards for The Boys — Best Actor in a Superhero Series and Best Villain in a Series — for his portrayal of Homelander. Widow's Bay actors Matthew Rhys and Kate O'Flynn also took acting honours. The Best Good Boy moment
The ceremony included a novelty prize that drew attention: a Best Good Boy in a Horror Movie award went to Indy, the canine star of Good Boy. Organisers framed the category as one of the more light-hearted moments of the evening, alongside the broader slate of genre categories covering superhero, science-fiction/fantasy, horror and action work.
