Peacock confirmed on September 18 that its Emmy Award-winning competition reality series "The Traitors" will return in 2027 with a new celebrity lineup of 23 reality and pop culture stars. The announcement positions host Alan Cumming for a continued run following his third consecutive Primetime Emmy win, with the new season once again produced by Studio Lambert. The network has already ordered three additional seasons through 2030.

'Dancing With the Stars' alumni anchor the new lineup

"The Bachelor" and "Dancing With the Stars" champion Joey Graziadei leads the cast, joined by "Dancing With the Stars" runner-up Whitney Leavitt. Graziadei's dual-franchise résumé ties the Peacock casting directly to the "Dancing With the Stars" audience. The lineup also includes Kristin Chenoweth, Bianca Del Rio, Craig Conover, Cynthia Bailey, and Rashad Jennings.

Bravo and 'Love Island' franchises add reality-TV depth

The 2027 cast brings together an unusually heavy Bravo contingent, with Bronwyn Newport ("The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City"), Cynthia Bailey ("The Real Housewives of Atlanta"), and Gizelle Bryant ("The Real Housewives of Potomac") all confirmed. "Love Island" is represented by JaNa Craig and narrator-comedian Iain Stirling, while Jag Bains, Taylor Hale, Michele Fitzgerald, Q Burdette, and Rachel Robinson extend the Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, and Challenge pipelines into the Scottish castle.

Olympic two-time gold medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim, former NFL fullback and "Dancing With the Stars" alum Rashad Jennings, and singer and former Australian Swim Team member Cody Simpson round out the celebrity profile. Acting credits are represented by Dominic Monaghan ("The Lord of the Rings," "Lost"), Casey Wilson, and Johnny Sibilly ("Pose," "Hacks," "Queer as Folk"), while content creators Boman Martinez-Reid and Emira D'Spain join from digital-first platforms.

Recent Emmys and ratings underpin Peacock's expansion case

Peacock's most recent "Traitors" season earned seven Emmy wins, including Outstanding Reality Competition Program and Outstanding Host for Cumming. The streaming service says the season drew 8.1 billion minutes viewed since its Jan. 8 premiere, with viewership up 72% over the prior season, ranking as the No. 2 streaming original reality series of 2026 by minutes viewed. NBC's companion series "The Traitors: New Blood," featuring everyday Americans competing for a $250,000 prize, has just debuted and streams on Peacock each Friday after airing on NBC.
