Shah Rukh Khan used an "Ask Me Anything" session on X on September 15, 2026 to confirm that his action thriller *King* will not be moved from its December 24, 2026 theatrical release date, ending speculation that the film might be postponed because of surrounding releases. Asked whether the film was "stuck between a sandwich," Khan replied that it was "not at all" and jokingly cast *King* as the "centre" of the sandwich.
