Love Actually orchestral tour announced

Consequence of Sound reported on July 23 that "Love Actually Live in Concert," an orchestral concert tour tied to the 2003 holiday film, will run in 2026. Billboard, publishing the prior day, said the tour will visit more than 30 cities and released the full schedule.

George Michael Faith Tour concert film acquired

Variety reported that Bleecker Street and Universal Pictures Content Group have acquired "George Michael: The Faith Tour," a concert film tied to the singer's late-1980s world tour. Specific release and distribution plans were not detailed in the announcement.

Australian summer concert series extended in Warrnambool

The Standard reported that Warrnambool City Council has partnered with Face to Face Touring to bring the Red Hot Summer Tour back to the city in January 2027, 2028 and 2029. The multi-year commitment follows the January 17, 2026 event at Warrnambool Racecourse, which drew almost 7,000 attendees and featured Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, The Cruel Sea, Kasey Chambers, The Cat Empire and Jess Hitchcock. Mayor Ben Blain said day-of-event spending was A$190,000 higher than the previous Saturday. Face to Face Touring event manager Deb Alexander said future line-ups would be announced in the coming months.
