Baltusrol Lands 2046 U.S. Open and Future USGA Slate
The USGA has awarded Baltusrol Golf Club the 2046 U.S. Open and three additional future USGA championships, the United States Golf Association announced. KLPGA and LPGA Settle Korean Player Allocation for BMW Ladies Championship
The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association and the U.S.-based LPGA jointly announced they have reached an agreement allowing KLPGA members to compete in this fall's BMW Ladies Championship, the lone LPGA event held annually in Korea. The deal came after the KLPGA said on July 2 that earlier negotiations had collapsed, with the Korean tour demanding 30 homegrown players and the LPGA willing to accept only 10. The two tours resumed talks "under the common objective of achieving our tours' mutual growth and sustainable development of Korean women's golf" and signed a memorandum of understanding.
2026 and 2027 BMW Ladies Championship Field Composition
Under the agreement, this year's BMW Ladies Championship field will feature 68 LPGA players, 15 KLPGA players, and one sponsor's exemption. In 2027, the field expands to 108 players — 74 LPGA members, 30 KLPGA members, and four sponsor invites — and will include a 36-hole cut for the first time since the tournament's 2019 launch. The 2026 BMW Ladies Championship is scheduled for October 22–25 at Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam, South Jeolla Province.
