The commemorative shoe
On unveiled a special-edition sneaker, The Roger Centre Court – International Tennis Hall of Fame Edition, to mark Roger Federer's upcoming induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The limited release is capped at 20,000 pairs worldwide, retails for $200, and will be sold exclusively on On.com beginning Aug. 25, one day before the article's publication and four days before the Aug. 29 ceremony.
Design rooted in Federer's Wimbledon wardrobe
The shoe draws on a selection of outfits Federer previously wore at Wimbledon, one of which is now displayed at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. It is built in an ivory and fern colorway with a white upper, golden accents and subtle green detailing, and features a grass-colored sockliner added at Federer's suggestion. The heel carries a golden International Tennis Hall of Fame racquet badge. Technical specifications include a 191-gram build and a 7mm drop, with European sizes 36 through 49 offered. Each pair ships in commemorative packaging finished with golden accents, green court-inspired edges and a personal message from Federer printed inside the lid.
"The Boy from Basel" campaign
On and Federer paired the release with a new campaign film titled "The Boy from Basel," shot on location in Basel, Switzerland. The film retraces the bicycle route a young Federer rode from his childhood home to his local tennis club, focusing on the dream that launched his career. Federer is quoted in the launch materials calling the Hall of Fame honor "incredible" and describing the shoe as "a piece of living tennis culture that gives everyone wearing it the feeling of stepping onto the grass."
Federer's On partnership since 2019
Federer first invested in the Swiss running brand On in 2019 and became a co-owner, with their first joint project, The Roger Centre Court 0-Series, following in 2020. The Hall of Fame edition extends that ongoing collaboration into a formal tribute tied to his induction.

The shoe goes on sale on On.com on Aug. 25, and the International Tennis Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 29.
