METHOD & CONTEXT

Convert the visible artwork into a practical image file

Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP, PSD, or PSB file, select PNG, JPEG, or WebP, and create a new copy without changing the original. Standard browser images are decoded as visible pixels. Photoshop files use their saved composite artwork and become one flattened result. The page reports this clearly because conversion cannot preserve editable Photoshop layers, masks, text settings, smart objects, or every effect inside an ordinary PNG, JPEG, or WebP file.

Use PNG when transparency or crisp graphics matter, JPEG for compact photographic sharing, and WebP for modern web delivery. The quality control affects lossy JPEG and WebP output. It cannot restore detail, widen a source color gamut, or reproduce an effect the decoder could not render. Animated input is reduced to the browser-visible frame rather than being presented as a preserved animation.

What PSD and PSB compatibility means here

A compatible Photoshop document includes a composite image representing the visible document. The converter reads that composite locally, checks its dimensions, and encodes the pixels in the format you choose. If the file was saved without a compatible composite, the tool returns a readable error and asks for a compatibility-enabled copy. It never substitutes a blank canvas or claims that a partial layer render is the finished artwork.

Flattened conversion is useful for sharing a review image, preparing a web upload, or creating a lightweight preview. It is not a round trip back to Photoshop. Keep the PSD or PSB whenever layers may be needed later. Compare typography, blending, transparency, color, and effects against the source application before approving brand, print, archive, legal, or client work.

Private processing and conservative format support

The selected file is processed in the current browser tab and is not uploaded to NexaCurrent. Temporary pixels and the download preview are released when replaced, cleared, or when the page closes. Files are capped at 30 MB and decoded artwork at 40 megapixels so a small compressed file cannot unexpectedly exhaust device memory. Malformed, encrypted, unsupported, or incomplete documents stop with an error instead of producing a guessed result.

The converter intentionally lists only formats that meet its current reliability and licensing checks. TIFF and camera RAW files are not advertised as supported, and HEIC is not silently sent to another service. For those formats, use a trusted application that understands the camera, profile, bit depth, pages, and metadata required by your workflow, then bring a standard image copy here if you need PNG, JPEG, or WebP output.
