New Power Hotel in Dawei: A Practical Corner Stay Near Pagodas and Long Lone

A Corner Address Worth Knowing

Tucked into a busy crossroads in Myanmar's Tanintharyi Region, New Power Hotel keeps things simple with a setting that locals describe as the corner where road meets street. Whether travelers are tracing temple visits or heading out toward quieter stretches of coast, the address works as a recognizable pivot point for a Dawei itinerary.

Where the Hotel Lands on the Map

The property sits at **250, Corner of Kamyaw Kin Street and Pone Kyun Street, Sin Ou Link Ward, Dawei**, with a second source listing the postal route as Pon Kyun Street, Dawei, 14001. Within the broader geography, that places New Power Hotel inside the **Dawei, Tanintharyi Region** setting recorded as ထားဝယ်, the regional capital. The corner address is also presented as a practical launching pad: travelers can reach **Maung Ma Kan Beach** thanks to the property's location at the corner leading to Long Lone Township, and a roughly 10-minute trip connects the hotel back to the **Highway Bus Station** when the journey continues elsewhere.

Star Standing and Surrounding Sights

Independent listings classify New Power Hotel as a **2-star** property within Dawei's wider tourism map. From the corner, **Shin Maw Pagoda** is about **1.6 km** away, a short hop for an early-morning temple circuit. On the practical shopping side, **DDPC Shopping Center** lies about a 25-minute walk from the property, useful for last-minute supplies before heading onward.

A Local Lunch Option Nearby

Within easy reach of the corner address, **Princess Pearl** serves Asian-cuisine dishes roughly 14 minutes on foot from the hotel. That gives guests a straightforward local dining option without straying far from the Pone Kyun Street base. Distance notes should be read straight-line rather than walking estimates.

Those scores belong to the listings where the property is registered and reflect guest impressions collected on third-party platforms rather than any official classification.

Practical Considerations

- Confirm the exact corner address and postal code directly with the property before arrival. - Route details for the Highway Bus Station and onward beaches such as Maung Ma Kan can shift, so verify current travel times locally. - Distances listed to pagodas, monasteries and dining spots are straight-line and should be confirmed for actual walking or driving plans.
