The Keepsake Sea release scheduled for Nov. 18
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s The Keepsake Sea expansion is scheduled to launch on Nov. 18, 2026. The release announcement also introduced a Seafaring Star Path and shared an early 2027 roadmap, according to GoNintendo.
The expansion will be sold separately as Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea with a bundle of 5,000 Moonstones. A deluxe edition will include 10,000 Moonstones, exclusive Gilded Shell Tops clothing items, a Merfolk Mansion House Style and two new Adventure Companions.
New Adventure Companions tied to quests
The deluxe edition’s two companions, Flounder and Sebastian from Disney’s The Little Mermaid!, will arrive with a special quest involving Ariel. Players can level the companions to unlock reward items, and the companions will be able to follow players on land and underwater.
Owners of Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition will reportedly receive access to the expansion’s contents on launch day without an additional purchase.
Multiple editions and launch promotion
A The Keepsake Sea Edition will include the base game, the expansion and a bundle of Moonstones. A Disney Dreamlight Valley Ultimate Edition 2026 will include the base game, the Wishblossom Ranch expansion, all The Keepsake Sea deluxe-edition contents and a bundle of Moonstones.
Players who purchase the expansion and play between the Nov. 18 launch and Dec. 2 will receive an exclusive fin for their mermaids. Nintendo Everything separately reported that the release date came with additional details and discounts, but its supplied coverage did not specify those discounts.
