Moody’s Ratings affirmed the insurance financial strength rating of CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance Company at A3, with a stable outlook. The ratings agency issued the report on October 26, according to Chubb Arabia’s announcement reported by Mubasher. The action confirms the insurer’s existing rating rather than assigning a new one.

Strong Asset Quality and Capital

Moody’s said the A3 rating reflected Chubb Arabia’s standalone financial strength, supported by strong asset quality and a conservative investment strategy. The ratings agency also cited robust capital levels and a record of profitability generated by underwriting and investment income.

Stable Outlook Hinges on Discipline

The stable outlook was based on Moody’s expectation that Chubb Arabia would maintain disciplined underwriting standards as its business volume grows. The agency said this discipline would support profitability and capital adequacy.

First-Half Profit Declined Slightly

Chubb Arabia reported net profit of 3.91 million Saudi riyals for the first half of 2026, compared with 3.97 million riyals in the same period of 2025. The decrease was 1.69%.

What to Watch

The next verifiable measurement point for the stable outlook is whether Chubb Arabia sustains underwriting discipline, profitability and capital adequacy as business volume grows, the conditions cited by Moody’s in its affirmation.
