Battery-grade purity record at Freedom Launchpad

LibertyStream Infrastructure Partners Inc. said every full certificate of analysis issued from its Freedom Launchpad facility between May 14 and August 14, 2026, reported lithium carbonate purity at or above 99.7%, exceeding the 99.5% minimum purity commonly specified for battery-grade lithium carbonate. The Dallas-based company, which trades as TSXV: LIB, OTCQB: VLTLF, and FSE: I2D, said the three-month stretch produced nine consecutive certificates of analysis above the battery-grade reference and that assays were performed by NSL Analytical Services. Freedom Launchpad is located at Select Water Solutions' site in Howard County, Texas.
Customer work, offtake, and production volumes
Since the refining system was configured for battery-grade output on May 14, the fully automated Gen 6 direct lithium extraction system and integrated refining equipment have produced roughly three tonnes of lithium carbonate across battery-grade, technical-grade, and customer-specific specifications. Beginning in early July 2026, samples were delivered to four customer organizations for evaluation, with material also produced to specifications supplied by three additional prospective customers. Alex Wylie, President and CEO of LibertyStream, said the record "demonstrates the repeatability of our process," adding that customer work spans seven organizations alongside the company's first definitive offtake agreement.
Pathway to Freedom 1 commercial facility
Freedom Launchpad uses the same core equipment types, automation, and process architecture intended for LibertyStream's planned 1,000-tonne-per-year Freedom 1 lithium carbonate facility. The initial offtake agreement provides for 600 tonnes per year beginning in 2027, establishing contracted demand for Freedom 1 production. The company said each campaign is designed to supply evaluation material while generating operating data, training personnel, and refining procedures ahead of commercial deployment.
Upcoming milestones
LibertyStream said it expects to issue further updates as production continues at Freedom Launchpad, customer evaluations advance, and development of Freedom 1 progresses. The 2027 commencement of deliveries under the 600-tonne-per-year offtake marks the next dated commercial milestone referenced in the update.
