Jonas Brothers announce 45-city North American tour

Jonas Brothers have announced a 45-city North American concert tour titled “Burning Up Tour All Over Again.” The group said the trek will revisit the music and memories associated with its 2008 Burning Up Tour.

The brothers will first headline three shows at Madison Square Garden in New York on Aug. 20, 21 and 22, each beginning at 7:30 p.m. The wider tour starts Sept. 25 in Boston and is scheduled to conclude Dec. 21 in Newark, New Jersey.

A return to the original era

The band’s statement said the response to the Madison Square Garden dates showed that the concerts should expand into a full tour. Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas described the outing as an opportunity to revisit the earlier tour with fans city by city.

Songs associated with the 2008 outing include “Year 3000,” “S.O.S.,” “When You Look Me in the Eyes,” “Play My Music” and “Burnin’ Up.”

Supporting performances

Magnus Ferrell, Franklin Jonas and Deleasa are scheduled to appear as guests on select dates. All Time Low will join the Jonas Brothers for the Nov. 18 concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

It has not been announced whether Demi Lovato or Taylor Swift, who appeared as special guests during the original 2008 Madison Square Garden engagement, will participate in the upcoming shows.

Ticket availability

General ticket sales for the newly announced dates are scheduled to begin Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster. The three Madison Square Garden concerts already have ticket inventory available through the same platform and secondary-market sellers.
