Jin of BTS surpassed 1 billion cumulative Spotify streams with "Don't Say You Love Me," according to reporting published August 18, 2026. His label, Big Hit Music, cited Spotify data. The track is the first of his solo songs to reach the milestone.

Song and album

"Don't Say You Love Me" is the title track of Jin's second solo EP, "Echo," released in May 2025. The album has also exceeded 1 billion cumulative streams since its release.

Chart performance

The song entered Billboard's Hot 100 at No. 90 on May 31, 2025, making it Jin's third solo song to reach that chart after "The Astronaut" and "Running Wild." The sources differ on its subsequent chart positions: one reports No. 7 on Billboard's Global 200, No. 5 on the Global chart excluding the United States, and No. 1 on Spotify's global chart; the other reports No. 2 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global and No. 6 on Billboard's Global 200.

Career record

"Echo" debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 on May 31, 2025, surpassing the No. 4 peak of Jin's first solo album, "Happy," from 2024. The streaming milestone adds to the record set by "Echo," which became his highest-charting solo album on the Billboard 200.
