Rod Wave has earned his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Don't Look Down, which debuted atop the chart dated Sept. 12, 2026. The set collected 99,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first week ending Sept. 3, according to Luminate, with streaming activity as the primary driver. Wave previously led the Billboard 200 with Nostalgia (2023), Beautiful Mind (2022) and SoulFly (2021), making Don't Look Down his fourth chart-topper.

How the Units Break Down

Of the 99,000 first-week equivalent album units, streaming equivalent albums (SEA) accounted for 90,000, equal to 95.07 million on-demand official streams of the project's songs, enough to also debut at No. 1 on the Top Streaming Albums chart. Album sales contributed 9,000 units, sending the set to No. 13 on the Top Album Sales chart, while track equivalent albums (TEA) made up a negligible share. The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured by Luminate.

Format Releases and Physical Variants

Don't Look Down was released as a 20-track standard edition on CD and vinyl LP, alongside an expanded 24-track digital download and streaming edition. Its physical rollout included six vinyl variants, two of which were signed editions, and two CD variants, one of which was signed. The album was released via Alamo Records.

Other Top Debuts on the Chart

Alex Warren posted his second top 10 and highest-charting set yet on the Billboard 200 with WILDCHILD, which opened at No. 2. The Sept. 12, 2026-dated Billboard 200 chart was scheduled to be posted in full on Billboard's website on Sept. 9, a day later than usual due to the U.S. Labor Day holiday on Sept. 7.
