The Biggest Sales Week Yet

Energetic live music performance at night with a lively crowd.

Stray Kids' new release "This & That" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated August 22, earning 369,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending August 13, according to Luminate. Of that total, traditional album sales accounted for 357,000, marking the group's best sales week ever. The debut was announced on August 16 and represents the act's ninth No. 1 on the chart, all of which have bowed at the top.

A New Milestone For Groups

The ninth No. 1 extends Stray Kids' record for the most No. 1s among groups this century, a span beginning in 2000. The act now ties the Rolling Stones for the second-most No. 1s on the Billboard 200 among groups, trailing only the Beatles, who hold 19 No. 1s. In 2024, with "Hop" launching at No. 1, Stray Kids became the first act to debut its first six entries all at the summit, a streak they have since extended to nine consecutive No. 1 debuts.

Where 'This & That' Lands In 2026

The opening-week figure of 369,000 equivalent album units places "This & That" as the sixth-largest week for any album in 2026 and the second-largest week by traditional album sales this year, behind only the debut of BTS' "Arirang" in March, which posted 532,000. The album also debuts at No. 1 on Luminate's Top Album Sales chart.

How The Rest Of The Top 10 Shaped Up

Ariana Grande's "Petal" slipped from No. 1 to No. 2 in its second week with 82,000 equivalent album units, followed by Olivia Rodrigo's "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love" at No. 3 and Ella Langley's "Dandelion" at No. 4. Morgan Wallen's "I'm the Problem" fell from No. 2 to No. 5, with Noah Kahan's "The Great Divide" at No. 6. Pooh Shiesty's "All Eyes on Shiest" debuted at No. 7, Karol G's "No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto" bowed at No. 8, Drake's "Iceman" slid from No. 6 to No. 9, and Role Model's "Chuck Timely & the Hourglass" entered at No. 10 with 38,500 equivalent album units.

A Year Of Firsts And A Milestone Ahead

Stray Kids first reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with "Oddinary" in 2022 and have placed every subsequent release atop the chart. The full August 22-dated Billboard 200 is scheduled to be posted on Billboard's website on August 18.
