Red Bull joins FDJ United-SUEZ ahead of Tour de France Femmes
On 1 August 2026, FDJ United-SUEZ confirmed Red Bull as a new major partner and official energy drink sponsor, with the sponsorship effective immediately from the opening stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The deal places Red Bull's logo on FDJ United-SUEZ helmets and gives the squad access to the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center, while the team's existing naming-rights agreements with FDJ and Suez run through the end of 2028. Team manager Stephen Delcourt described the agreement as the "pinnacle" of the squad's development efforts, and rider Demi Vollering called the partnership "exciting" and said it would "bring us further for the future." The arrangement represents Red Bull's first major move into women's road cycling, complementing its backing of the men's Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe team and individual rider sponsorships such as that of Kate Courtney, who transferred to FDJ United-SUEZ last month.
Kabakchiev wins Romaniacs Day 3 as Lettenbichler protects overall lead
At the Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro, Teo Kabakchiev set the fastest Gold Class time on Offroad Day 3, completing more than seven hours and 140 kilometres of extreme terrain 53 seconds faster than Mani Lettenbichler on corrected time. Lettenbichler still reached the finish line first and retained control of the overall classification, having entered the day with a 19-minute 37-second advantage; Kabakchiev's stage win therefore narrowed but did not erase that gap. Michael Walkner secured third on the stage, 16 minutes 38 seconds behind Kabakchiev's pace, after both leaders tackled the steep "Galindo" LIVEmaniacs challenge. With only one Offroad Day remaining, riders will converge on the Final Hillclimb Arena in the Sibiu region for the final test of the 2026 race.
Iffland and Gimeno take control in Mostar
At the tenth Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series stop in Mostar, Rhiannan Iffland and Carlos Gimeno moved to the top of the women's and men's standings after Friday's second round of competition. Iffland leads on 263.30 points, narrowly ahead of Canada's Molly Carlson on 261.70, with Australia's Xantheia Pennisi third on 250.80; a win on Saturday would deliver the Australian her tenth series title. Gimeno overtook Thursday's leader Gary Hunt with 284.45 points, while Hunt is tied with James Lichtenstein on 281.10 and reigning event winner Constantin Popovici sits fourth on 275.70.
