Agility Robotics names new CFO

Humanoid robot maker Agility Robotics has appointed a new chief financial officer, according to GeekWire's Tech Moves column. The CFO hire was the lead item in a roundup of technology personnel changes.

The same GeekWire column also reported a Microsoft security executive departure, a new legal officer at Zap, and a new chief product and technology officer at KEXP.
FIRA Robotics Village to debut at Ag Progress Days
Penn State's Ag Progress Days will introduce a FIRA Robotics Village showcasing robotics and automation for the agricultural sector. The village will feature demonstrations of agricultural robotics applications aimed at the farming industry.
Embodied AI funding context
As background, Chinese AI startup PsiBot, also known as Lingchu Intelligence, is raising close to US$100 million at a US$1.48 billion valuation, joining a small group of unicorns in the embodied AI and world models space. The company has raised about US$300 million since its 2024 founding in Shanghai and is backed by Chery Automobile and Lens Technology.
