A 14-Story Landmark in Frankfurt

Towering 49 metres into theFrankfurtskyline, the Hilton Frankfurt City Centre stands 14 floors above ground on Hochstraße 4, 60313 Frankfurt, Germany. The address alone places the hotel in the heart of Frankfurt am Main, where the city's signature blend of commerce and architecture is on full display.
The hotel was built in 1998 and was designed by John Seifert Architects from London, giving the property an international design pedigree from the day it opened. It is referenced in the Frankfurt am Main Architectural Guide, a 2002 publication documenting notable works in the city.
The Hilton Heritage
The hotel's doors opened to welcome the very first Hilton guest in Frankfurt in November 1998, with the soft opening marked by a celebration featuring balloons. The official grand opening followed in 1999, and the hotel has since marked milestones including a 20-year anniversary of hospitality in the Frankfurt city centre and a 25-year celebration reflecting on its place in the local hospitality scene.
A general manager who started at the hotel as a banquet team member two decades ago now oversees operations, a continuity that ties the property's identity to its Frankfurt story.
Design Concept: Urban Loft Living
Frankfurt is sometimes referred to as Mini-Mainhattan, and the hotel's interior design draws on that identity. Lead designer Jeremy Whyntie of Hilton Global Services framed the brief as "Urban Loft Living," inspired by the city's skyline and the River Main, which serves as a focal point of Frankfurt. London-based firm THDP, with director Nick Hickson overseeing technical and creative direction, built the interior design around that single phrase.
The project was shortlisted for a 2020 SBID Award in the category of Hotel Public Space Design, reflecting industry recognition for the redesign work.
Rooms, Suites and Renovations
The Hilton Frankfurt City Centre features 342 rooms and suites, bright and spacious in their layout. Marking the 20-year milestone, the hotel underwent a comprehensive modernisation focused on guest rooms, gastronomy and event spaces. The renovated rooms showcase high-quality materials in warm, natural colours, with decorative highlights in the bathroom and room fittings that create a stylish, cosy atmosphere.
Wellness and Event Facilities
Wellness amenities at the hotel include a 25-metre swimming pool, a jogging track, a sauna, a solarium, a steam bath and a beauty centre offering massages, facials and pedicures. Around the time of the hotel's 20-year anniversary, the pool was described as the largest indoor pool of its kind in Germany.
Guests and event organisers access some amenities via a private lift and entrance, and the hotel also includes a stylish restaurant and bar alongside its event spaces, all of which received attention during the property's modernisation programme.
The Frankfurt Setting
The hotel's position at Hochstraße 4 in central Frankfurt keeps it close to the city's commercial and cultural heart, where the River Main and the surrounding skyline shape the urban experience that inspired its design concept.
