A Central Address on Schauplatzgasse
Hotel Bären is positioned right in the historic core of Bern, at Schauplatzgasse 4, 3011 Bern, Switzerland. The property sits in the immediate vicinity of Bundesplatz, the federal square that anchors the city's old town and serves as a recognizable reference point for visitors stepping out of the lobby.
Direct-Booking Promise
The hotel highlights a guaranteed best price-to-performance ratio for guests who reserve directly. This is presented as the property's own booking incentive, rather than a third-party price comparison, giving travelers a clear route through the hotel's own channels when arranging a stay.
Rooms Available for Different Group Sizes
The room overview lists several configurations to match common travel patterns. Double rooms come in two sizes, labeled L and M, alongside a single room option and multi-bed and family rooms for larger parties. Seasonal autumn and winter offers run alongside a Discover, Relax & Sleep package and additional long-stay apartment options that invite guests to extend their visit in the same central location.
WohnBar — A Spot to Unwind
On-site, the WohnBar is described by the hotel as an ideal oasis to linger. The space functions as the property's social anchor, a place to pause between exploring the old quarter and retiring to the room, with the lobby atmosphere serving as a relaxed counterpoint to the busier streets just outside on Schauplatzgasse.
Fitness Room for a Daily Reset
A fitness room is also available within the hotel. The hotel frames it as a personal power spot to switch off and recharge, giving guests a place to maintain a routine without leaving the building, especially useful on shorter city stays when time is tight.
Direct Contact and Guest Support
The hotel positions itself as available for guest questions about its offers and the wider Bern experience. Contact channels include email and phone, supplemented by active Instagram and Facebook profiles, while the physical address — Hotel Bären, Bundesplatz, Schauplatzgasse 4, 3011 Bern — is restated for visitors who prefer to reach the property in person.
Practical Considerations
Schauplatzgasse 4 places Hotel Bären within walking reach of Bern's central landmarks, with the federal square of Bundesplatz just outside. Because offers, room availability and on-site details can change, guests are encouraged to confirm current arrangements directly with the hotel before traveling. The property's direct-booking messaging and on-site amenities — from the WohnBar to the fitness room and the varied room categories — make it straightforward to plan a stay in the Swiss capital.
