DoubleTree by Hilton Hull in Kingston upon Hull: Steps from Hull Truck Theatre

A Ferensway address beside Hull's cultural stage

DoubleTree by Hilton Hull plants you right on Ferensway, the busy spine that runs through the heart of Kingston upon Hull. The hotel sits next to Hull Truck Theatre, which means curtains-up moments and a city-center stroll begin almost at the front door. Ferens Art Gallery, Hull Maritime Museum and Hull Paragon Interchange rail station are all within roughly 10 minutes by foot, with Hull's Old Town about a mile from the lobby.

A contemporary base for a city-break rhythm

The property reads as a modern city hotel, with a ballroom and baggage storage among the on-site touches that shape arrivals and events. Inside, the look is contemporary, and the cityscape frames the upper-floor views. It feels built for travellers who want a quick swap between sightseeing, theatre and a good plate of food.

Spaces to unwind between outings

After a day threading through museums, the shared lounge offers a soft landing. A fitness center and a gym on site keep workouts on track, and various recreational opportunities round out the in-building downtime. For longer evenings, the on-site restaurant anchors the dining side, while room service keeps things easy when the curtain comes down early.

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse on the ground floor

A signature dining note lives downstairs at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, where classic cuisine is prepared with local produce. It anchors the food story in the building itself, so a steak-and-supper evening can happen without stepping out into the Hull evening air.

Getting in and moving on

Hull Paragon Interchange Station and Hull Station are both about 6 minutes by foot, which makes arrivals by rail simple. Humberside airport sits roughly 35 km away, and the hotel is also close to Hull Interchange bus station. Hull New Theatre and Connexin Live Arena are within a short walk, which keeps a concert-or-play weekend easy to script.

Practical considerations

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out runs until 11:00, with free WiFi, a digital key, EV charging and connecting rooms among the listed conveniences. Free cribs are available on request. Some details of the property's services, surroundings and transport links can evolve over time, so confirming specifics directly with the hotel before arrival is always wise.
