Disney+ will stream its first Super Bowl on February 14, 2027, carrying ABC and ESPN's broadcast of Super Bowl LXI live from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The move marks the fourth consecutive year the NFL's championship game will be available on a streaming service. No Disney-owned network has aired the Super Bowl since the George W. Bush administration, and ABC and ESPN hold the 2027 rights.
On-air talent and language feeds
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are set to call Super Bowl LXI, with Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge reporting from the sidelines. Disney+ will simulcast the Spanish-language broadcast from ESPN Deportes. ESPN's linear platforms will carry the game in more than 130 countries and territories, while Disney+ will stream it in more than 55 international markets, including Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa and Australia/New Zealand.
Two Monday Night Football games on the streamer
In addition to the Super Bowl, Disney+ will carry a pair of Monday Night Football games during the 2026 NFL season. The first is the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys on October 26; the other matchup has not been announced. The MNF additions are the latest expansion of live sports on the Disney-owned streaming platform.
Ad inventory status and context
Disney disclosed in August that it had sold out the advertising inventory for the 2027 Super Bowl, touting it as the earliest sellout by a network in the Big Game's history. The 2026 Super Bowl (LX) drew a 2% decline in viewership on NBC and Peacock, though Bad Bunny's halftime show was the most-watched in Spanish-language history, per industry coverage cited alongside the announcement.
