The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and Accenture LearnVantage announced on October 22, 2026, that they are collaborating to launch a two-year Global MBA degree program for experienced international professionals. Classes are scheduled to begin in March 2027. The announcement forms part of a broader, multi-year strategic collaboration intended to develop industry-ready talent through learning, research and innovation.

Target participants and delivery

The program is aimed primarily at working executives, professionals and entrepreneurs from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe. It will combine IIM Kozhikode’s academic expertise with Accenture LearnVantage’s industry insights across management, leadership, technology and global business.

The program will be anchored at IIM Kozhikode’s newly established Urban Learning Centre in Kochi, Kerala. It is expected to include approximately 650 learning hours over four semesters, using online learning, campus-based experiences and international workshops in the four targeted regions. Instruction will involve IIM Kozhikode faculty, industry leaders and subject-matter experts.

Curriculum and degree

The Global MBA will include projects, case studies and immersive learning experiences intended to connect academic concepts with business challenges. Participants will also study contemporary management practices, business transformation and emerging technologies. Those who successfully complete the program are expected to receive an MBA degree from IIM Kozhikode and join its alumni network.

Broader collaboration

The Global MBA is the first step in a wider IIM Kozhikode-Accenture LearnVantage collaboration. The announced areas of work are global learning programs, talent and leadership development, industry-integrated learning through live projects and practitioner engagement, and research, innovation and entrepreneurship.

IIM Kozhikode Director Prof. Debashis Chatterjee said the program was designed to develop “visionary pragmatists” able to combine direction, analytical rigor, innovation and human-centered leadership. Accenture LearnVantage Managing Director for Asia-Oceania and the Middle East, Anurag Bansal, said the collaboration would connect academic excellence with industry insights as business reinvention accelerated.
