Nintendo of America confirmed a crossover that adds Legend of Zelda-inspired cosmetics to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, according to a Nintendo of America post reported by ComicBook.com. The items are available through the game’s online Custom Design Portal.

The additions include a Korok Umbrella and a Triforce Tee. The umbrella features Korok imagery, while the shirt carries the Triforce symbol associated with The Legend of Zelda series.

Access requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership

Access to the downloadable content requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership, sold separately from a Switch console and offered through region-specific plans. The report said membership accounts use auto-renewal, so players who subscribe only to obtain the cosmetics would need to cancel renewal manually.

The report did not identify a price for the crossover items and said they could be obtained without a stated time limit or other restriction tied to downloading them.

The crossover precedes the Ocarina of Time remake release

The content was released ahead of the planned early-November 2026 launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. Separately, Metacritic revealed the remake’s review embargo as its release date approached, according to Notebookcheck. The available report did not specify the embargo’s timing.

The Animal Crossing additions follow earlier Zelda-inspired items associated with other releases in the series, which the report said remained available in the Custom Design Portal.

Other Nintendo-related developments

Separately, Takoroka added early Nintendo Switch 2 support to the Eden emulator, enabling PC users to attempt to run some Switch 2 games, according to DSOgaming. The report described Eden-NX2 as the first Nintendo Switch 2 emulator for PC.

Elsewhere, NintendoEverything reported that Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos had received a Nintendo Switch remaster, with a launch trailer supplied by Argonaut Games. The available report did not specify the remaster’s release date or supported features.
