Delay from October 2026 to March 2027

Moon Studios announced that the 1.0 launch of its action RPG No Rest for the Wicked has moved from October 2026 to March 2027. Writing on the official site, the studio said it is "a small team, and we're holding our games to a standard we won't compromise on," adding that "close isn't good enough for our full 1.0 launch." The title has been available in Steam Early Access and was previously targeted for a full release later this year.
Platforms and additional testing planned
The studio said the extra time will be used to "improve performance, tighten the class system, and polish the whole game." Moon Studios confirmed that an open beta test will be held in December, with additional closed beta tests in the months leading up to it. The PC and PlayStation 5 versions are now slated to fully release in March 2027, while Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 editions remain on the roadmap with dates to be set later.
Founders rewards and pre-order timing
Players who purchase No Rest for the Wicked on Steam before January 1, 2027 will receive founders pack rewards as thanks for backing the title through Early Access. PlayStation pre-orders will open in January 2027, giving console players on that platform a window to earn the same founder rewards. The studio also said a new "Wicked Inside" community event for players would be scheduled soon, with further details to be shared on official social channels.
Next milestone
The next verifiable milestone is the open beta test scheduled for December, which Moon Studios said will give the community a hands-on opportunity to help shape the final 1.0 build ahead of the March 2027 launch on PC and PlayStation 5.
