Developer Something We Made and co-publisher popagenda released TOEM 2, the sequel to the BAFTA-winning TOEM: A Photography Adventure, on September 29 on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The launch follows a launch-trailer rollout timed to the same day and is positioned as a short, cozy photography-themed puzzle experience designed to be completed in roughly three to four hours.

Pricing, bundle and soundtrack

The game is priced at $19.99 USD, with a limited-time 15% off launch discount. A bundle pairing TOEM 2 and the original TOEM: A Photography Adventure is also available, offering an additional 10% off. The TOEM 2 original soundtrack, composed by Launchable Socks and Jamal Green, is on sale alongside the launch. Photography-based gameplay now includes new camera attachments and unconventional uses for the camera across each region.

Studio and publisher background

Something We Made, founded in 2018 in a Swedish harbor town by Niklas Mikkelsen and Lucas Gullbo, built its reputation on the original TOEM before scaling up for the sequel. Co-publisher popagenda, founded in 2018 by Marie-Christine Bourdua, Geneviève St-Onge and Nicolas Verge, has supported titles including Bugsnax, TOEM, Cuphead and Venba. The studio's Karlshamn, Sweden release notice frames the game as welcoming for returning fans and first-time players.
