Woodo is priced at $19.99 on Steam, with a pre-order price of $15.99. International pricing has been set at £15.99 and €19.99, while the Japanese eShop price is listed at ¥2,790. The game will be available on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches on September 16, 2026.

Gameplay and Narrative Design

Woodo is built around assembling handcrafted wooden dioramas piece by piece, with players rotating and exploring the full 3D space to uncover hidden pieces before placing them. As scenes fill in, animations trigger to bring the environment to life. The story follows Foxy, a city girl sent to the countryside for the summer, and her companion Ben the Frog, with narration by Olivier Award winner Miriam-Teak Lee framing the experience as a tactile recreation of childhood play rather than a traditional puzzle.

Woodo is developed by the two-person studio Tiny Monks Tales, consisting of Yullia "Julia" Prohorova and Timur Bogotov, whose prior title Clumsy Rush released on Switch in 2019. Publisher Daedalic Entertainment is marking its 20th year of supporting indie developers and has a catalog that includes Deponia, Shadow Tactics, Barotrauma, and Inkulinati, with an international team of around 35 employees.
