InCommodities A/S, the Danish energy trader backed by Goldman Sachs Group Inc., plans to open a new office in Houston within six months as it expands its US natural gas and power business. The new location will support the company's North American trading operations in physical and financial energy markets, complementing its existing European base and extending its footprint into one of the largest US gas and power hubs.

Fusion Fuel closes Royal Uranium acquisition with natural gas royalties

Fusion Fuel has closed its strategic acquisition of Royal Uranium, adding royalty interests across both uranium and natural gas. The deal included three historically productive natural gas project areas in Alberta, Canada, alongside 16 uranium-focused project areas located in Canada, Colombia, and Argentina. With the acquisition announced and closed on July 22, 2026, the buyer gains a mixed portfolio of mineral and hydrocarbon royalty assets in a single transaction that broadens its exposure beyond its prior business lines.

Geographic scope of the Royal Uranium transaction

The Royal Uranium acquisition spans three countries, with uranium-focused project areas in Canada, Colombia, and Argentina, and three historically productive natural gas project areas in Alberta, Canada. The natural gas royalty interests add a hydrocarbon dimension to a portfolio otherwise anchored in uranium, giving the buyer diversified commodity exposure through royalties rather than direct operations. The Alberta holdings specifically tie Fusion Fuel to established Canadian gas regions with historical production.
