BINI releases 'A Parallel World' for 'Forgotten Island'

Filipino pop group BINI released "A Parallel World," an original song written for the soundtrack of the upcoming animated film "Forgotten Island," which is inspired by Filipino folklore. The release was reported on July 24, 2026. A music video for the track includes clips from the film as well as footage of BINI recording the song in the United States during their appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Broader 'Forgotten Island' soundtrack spans Filipino and international artists
BINI was previously announced as part of the "Forgotten Island" soundtrack alongside fellow Filipino acts SB19, Lea Salonga, Ruby Ibarra, and Carl Angelo, as well as Sophia Laforteza of the girl group Katseye. All eight members of BINI sing in Filipino on the new track, with Colet, Aiah, Sheena, and Stacey featured on solo lines. The film's voice cast is led by Liza and H.E.R., who portray best friends Raissa and Jo and will also perform the film's title track "BRB," which likewise includes Filipino lyrics. Sample lyrics include a chorus in which the members sing "You and I, be stuck together. Babangon kahit matumba. Laugh so hard, we cry together. You and I ride the tide together," and a verse from Stacey: "Makulay ating daan, isang milyon ang larawan. Matapos man ang mundo, maligaya ako sa nag-iisang tala sa langit."

Pacific languages at the heart of 'We Know The Way'
