Stray Kids' 'THIS & THAT' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200, Extending Historic Chart Run

A Ninth Straight No. 1 and a Career-Best Week

Stray Kids' latest full-length album "THIS & THAT" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated August 22, 2026, earning 369,000 equivalent album units in its first week. That total is the group's biggest one-week figure to date, with 357,000 of those units coming from traditional album sales. The album also led Billboard's Top Album Sales, Vinyl Albums and World Albums charts, while the title track entered the Hot 100 at No. 38, giving Stray Kids their first top 40 hit on that ranking.

With the debut, Stray Kids became the first act in the history of the Billboard 200 to debut their first nine charting albums at No. 1, a streak that began with "ODDINARY" in 2022. The group tied Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums in the 2020s and extended their own marks for the most No. 1 albums by a K-pop group and the most No. 1 albums by any group in the 21st century. They also pulled into a tie with the Rolling Stones for the second-most No. 1 albums by a group in Billboard 200 history, and accumulated nine leaders faster than any act since the Beatles.

The title track "This & That" opened at No. 4 on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart and debuted at No. 15 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 25 on the Global 200. Stray Kids re-entered the Artist 100 at No. 1, completing a sweep across five Billboard charts in a single week. The album's run continues a sequence that now places the group alongside legacy rock acts in the all-time rankings.

The Group's Response

Stray Kids said in a statement reported by the Korea Times that it was deeply honored to have a ninth consecutive album reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, describing the achievement as a "great honor" and crediting fans for the result. The album, featuring music and lyrics crafted by the group's in-house producing unit 3RACHA, was preceded by the hip-hop-oriented title track and the anthem "RUN IT," which gave its name to the group's ongoing tour.

Tour and Upcoming Milestones

The chart success lands as Stray Kids prepare for a slate of high-profile 2026 dates, including Governors Ball in New York earlier this summer. On August 29 and 30, they are set to become the first international male artists to headline Tokyo National Stadium. In September they will headline Brazil's Rock in Rio festival, then launch the STRAYCITY festival series across North, South and Latin America.
