Announcing "CLICK" as the lead single

Jisoo confirmed on August 24 that her new single, titled "CLICK," will be released on September 4 as the first track from her forthcoming debut studio album. The announcement was made through her social channels, where a teaser displayed the words "CLICK JISOO" alongside the release date and an amusement park-themed image featuring dolls and a carousel.
A solo vocal track with a Joseph Kahn-directed video
"CLICK" is expected to be a solo vocal recording without featured artists. The accompanying music video was directed by Joseph Kahn and filmed in the northeastern part of Bangkok, marking the first new music from Jisoo since her October single "Eyes Closed (feat. Zayn)." Kahn's previous credits include directing music videos for Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Eminem.
Position within her broader solo catalog
Jisoo is the final member of BLACKPINK to prepare a full-length solo album, following the group's December 2023 departure from YG Entertainment. While Lisa, Jennie and Rosé have already released solo LPs under their respective labels, Jisoo's solo output to date has centered on her 2023 single album ME and the four-track EP "Amortage," released in February 2025, alongside her acting work.
Album details still to be confirmed
While Jisoo has confirmed the single's title and release date, the album's full title, tracklist and release date have not yet been announced. An industry source stated that the upcoming album will include "several other songs" beyond "CLICK," with its title and genre also undisclosed.
Next milestone
The next verifiable milestone is the release of "CLICK" on September 4, with further details on the album expected closer to that date.
