Sandisk is scheduled to release fiscal first-quarter 2027 results after the U.S. market close on Oct. 29, followed by a 1:30 p.m. PT conference call. The company has guided to revenue of $10.3 billion-$10.8 billion and non-GAAP earnings of $44-$46 per share. The results remain pending as of the review.

Guidance points to sequential revenue growth

The forecast revenue range would represent approximately 15% to 20% sequential growth from Sandisk's $8.97 billion of fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue. Zacks reported a revenue consensus estimate of $10.58 billion and a non-GAAP EPS consensus estimate of $46.23 per share, while other market-data providers cited by FinanceFeeds placed non-GAAP EPS estimates near or above the top of the company's $44-$46 range.

NAND pricing and enterprise storage demand shape expectations

Ahead of the report, Zacks said Sandisk was expected to have benefited from robust NAND flash-memory demand, rising average selling prices, improving product mix and investment in artificial-intelligence infrastructure. It also identified enterprise solid-state drive demand from hyperscalers and AI infrastructure providers as a factor supporting revenue and profitability.

In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, approximately two-thirds of Sandisk's sequential revenue growth came from higher pricing and one-third from increased volumes. The company's Datacenter revenue rose 103% sequentially to $2.98 billion, according to Zacks.

High-capacity products remain a potential growth driver

Zacks said Sandisk expanded shipments of its compute-focused triple-level-cell enterprise SSDs to hyperscale and AI infrastructure customers. It also said revenue shipments had commenced for the quad-level-cell Stargate platform, which is intended for high-capacity AI data-lake applications.

The analysis also said Sandisk's transition toward BiCS8 NAND technology was expected to have supported first-quarter performance. BiCS8 uses technologies including CMOS directly bonded to Array and hybrid wafer bonding, which are described as improving density and manufacturing efficiency. These expectations do not establish what the company will report on Oct. 29.

Shares entered the report on a strong year-to-date gain

FinanceFeeds reported that Sandisk shares closed Oct. 26 at $1,255.58, up 1.42%, with a market value of about $183.8 billion. Zacks said the stock had gained 447.1% year to date and traded at 3.47 times sales, while FinanceFeeds placed it 46.7% below its 52-week high of $2,354.39.

The Oct. 26 share increase was part of a broader memory and semiconductor rally rather than a Sandisk-specific announcement, according to FinanceFeeds. That report also cited Bank of America analyst Vivek Arya's assessment that memory customers' supply agreements now run three to five years and that tight memory availability is expected in 2027 and 2028.

Next verification point

The next company-specific milestone is Sandisk's fiscal Q1 2027 release and conference call on Oct. 29. Investors will be able to compare reported revenue, non-GAAP EPS and commentary on NAND pricing, Datacenter demand and enterprise SSD shipments with the company's guidance and the pre-release consensus estimates.
