Tesla will display its two-seat Cybercab robotaxi at the Paris Motor Show from October 12 to 18, 2026, marking the vehicle's first public showing on European soil. The autonomous car, built without a steering wheel or pedals, will sit on stand C25 in Hall 7.1 of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, show director Serge Gachot confirmed in a phone interview with Bloomberg News on Tuesday.
The unit heading to Paris is one of the gold Cybercabs currently operating in Tesla's U.S. Robotaxi fleet rather than a show-only concept, according to the organizers. Tesla began paid Cybercab rides in Austin on September 3, 2026, and Austin remains the only city where members of the public can book a ride in one. Visitors to the Paris stand will be able to walk around the vehicle but not ride in it.
What else Tesla is bringing
Tesla's stand will also feature the Model 3 and Model Y, the Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot, Tesla Energy home charging products and a Supercharger, with sales, technical and certified used-car teams on hand. Attendees can take free test drives in six Tesla vehicles equipped with Full Self-Driving (Supervised) software throughout the week. Tesla said Full Self-Driving (Supervised) has covered more than 100 million kilometres across the seven European countries where it is approved and that cars using it are 4.1 times less likely to be involved in a crash than manually driven cars.
The Paris Motor Show opens October 12 and runs through October 18. Competitors including Stellantis, Renault, BYD and XPeng are also presenting new EVs, while BMW has pulled out of this year's event to cut spending.
Europe is not yet a launch market
A European commercial launch is not planned at this stage, French outlet Turbo reported, and Tesla's own timing points to European Cybercab availability as early as 2027. Because the Cybercab lacks manual override controls, it sits in largely uncharted European regulatory territory that operates under frameworks different from the U.S. state-by-state approvals Tesla has navigated in Austin.
Market reaction
TSLA traded near $380.74 after the Paris announcement and rose roughly 0.6% on the session, on top of an approximate 7% gain over the prior week, suggesting much of the Cybercab optimism had already been priced in. Wall Street carries a Moderate Buy consensus on TSLA and an average price target of $391.40.
Other developments
Separately, Tesla began rolling out a 2026.38.3 software update timed to Halloween that introduces a Halloween Mode aimed at owners and families, according to Tesla North.
