The Korea Herald noted that Marvel's Korean audience has thinned in recent years, with "Captain America: Brave New World" reaching 1.65 million admissions in 2025, "Thunderbolts*" 922,000 and "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" just 590,863 tickets despite a $274 million North American run. Whether the new opening marks a durable recovery or a familiar one-week spike remained the central question as the film headed into its first full weekend.
