MATIC expansion into premium road cycling

Superteam Wheels announced MATIC, a new premium sub-brand, on October 23, 2026, alongside the debut of the MATIC S68 one-piece carbon wheelset. The company said MATIC is intended for performance-focused cycling enthusiasts, amateur racers and hardcore riders as part of its expansion into high-end road cycling equipment.
The announcement described MATIC as drawing on Superteam Wheels’ manufacturing experience and focusing on craftsmanship, speed and lightweight performance. Superteam Wheels said the brand name’s “-MATIC” suffix refers to precise mechanical motion.
S68 design and specifications
The MATIC S68 has a 68 mm rim depth, a 28 mm outer width and a 21 mm inner width. The wheelset weighs 1,348 grams: 632 grams for the front wheel and 716 grams for the rear, with 16 spokes on each wheel.
Superteam Wheels said the wheels use one-piece molding and hole-less rim technology. It also said the S68 was tuned iteratively through real-world testing by professional riders, though the announcement did not provide independent test results.
Announced pricing and support
The company set the MATIC S68 at US$2,999 and announced complimentary lifetime after-sales support. A limited-time promotion is scheduled to begin on October 25 at US$2,599, representing a stated US$400 reduction, according to the announcement.
Chris Zeng, Superteam Wheels’ overseas business manager, said the S68 resulted from extensive development, iterations and rigorous testing. The reviewed reporting did not specify markets, availability dates or quantities for the wheelset beyond the scheduled promotional price.
