COLORFUL Technology Company Limited announced the launch of the iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14 motherboard in India on October 24. The announcement positions the board as a high-end desktop platform for gaming, multitasking and demanding creative workloads, with support for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 Series processors through the AM5 socket.
The launch was reported by PNN Newsdesk, PNN and Business Standard. The reviewed coverage did not disclose an Indian retail price, availability date, or list of authorized sellers.
Power and memory specifications
The motherboard uses a 16+2+1-phase power design with 80A DrMOS and includes an integrated clock generator for CPU base-clock adjustments. COLORFUL said the design would support high-end AMD processors, including the Ryzen 9 9950X3D.
Four DDR5 memory slots support up to 256GB of memory. The company described the board as a flexible platform for desktop systems intended for gaming and productivity.
PCIe 5.0 storage and rear connectivity
Five M.2 slots provide storage expansion: three support PCIe 5.0 x4 and two support PCIe 4.0 x4. Four SATA 6Gb/s connectors are also included, while an M.2 quick-release latch is designed to provide tool-free access to the SSDs beneath the heatsink.
Rear connectivity includes two USB4 Type-C ports with data-transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps and support for 4K display output. The product announcement also lists Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
Black ARGB design for gaming builders
The iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14 follows the iGame Ultra series’ design language with a black finish, extensive heatsink armor, graffiti-style typography and dot-matrix artwork. Pixel-inspired ARGB lighting beneath the VRM nameplate provides gradient illumination.
COLORFUL presented the combination of styling and the storage-access latch as features for gamers, PC enthusiasts and content creators. The announcement does not provide independent performance testing or benchmark results for the Indian-market board.
