Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” reclaimed the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100, ending Taylor Swift’s three-week run with the song and extending its record for the most nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 to 25. The country hit also reached a record 53 weeks on the chart, with 20 million on-demand streams and 58.6 million radio impressions reported for the week.

McRae makes the strongest debut

Tate McRae’s “Housewife” entered at No. 2, her highest-charting song as a lead artist. The 2026 single generated 22.9 million streams, 12.7 million radio impressions and 4,000 units sold in its first full tracking week.

Three new entries fill the top five

The Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan remix of “Expectations” debuted at No. 3 with 18.2 million streams, 2.6 million radio impressions, 4,000 downloads and 15,000 first-week physical sales. The song’s performance helped Rodrigo’s album “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love” return to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a third nonconsecutive week.

Zach Bryan and Lana Del Rey’s “Lies” entered at No. 4 with 19.6 million streams and 5,000 sales. Swift’s “Patient Zero” fell from No. 1 to No. 5 as physical sales declined from 151,000 to 26,000, though it remained the week’s top-selling song among those tracked. The five-song result was the first in which multiple songs by different artists debuted in the Hot 100’s top five since March 23, 2025.
